This extension adds the DLInfo functionality to the EUCARIS web client, and is deployed by EUCARIS System Updates. General information about system Updates can be found here.
Requirements
This extension requires:
- an installation of EUCARIS release 7, up to date with System Update 30 (SU-U30 or higher)
- an installation of the EUCARIS DLInfo service extension, up to date with System Update E123 (SU-E123 or higher)
- an installation of the EUCARIS web client core, up to date with System Update WU4 (SU-WU3 or higher)
- the latest version of the EUCARIS Configuration tool installed on the EUCARIS server.
Web client plugin
This extension installs the DLInfo web client extension able to exchange DLInfo messages.
Installation
The required System Updates mentioned in this document must be installed prior to this extension. The installation process is described in detail in the “EUCARIS – Installation and Operation Manual.pdf” document, available on this site **.
Upgrade notes
This is a cumulative update. Any previous System Updates do not have to be uninstalled prior to this update. Any existing translated languages, local services configuration, user profiles and logging configuration is retained.
Configuration
No additional configuration is required after installation.
Known issues
The following issues are known:
- Dates are not shown correctly (only Oracle). Year is shown as yyyy and day is shown as dd, for example yyyy/06/dd. It should be 1975/06/01.
- Gender is missing in the results.
- In the DateOfBirth fields the user can fill in more characters than the expected length. For example, in de day-field, 4 characters can be entered, this result in messages like: “Please enter no more than 4 characters”
- Category remarks is not complete. Category remarks is a concatenation of CategoryRemarkTypeDesc, CategoryRemarkDesc and CategoryRemarkText, but in the result CategoryRemarkText is missing.
- No results are shown when search item DateOfBirth is empty. After clicking Submit, nothing happens.
- Search criteria do not depend on the country that is chosen.
- In the search criteria, it should be allowed to provide 00 for the day part and/or month part. This result in: “Incorrect month value”
- The web client does not yet support message version 2.0.
The issues above will be resolved in subsequent releases of this extension.
