This extension adds the Salzburg functionality to EUCARIS and is deployed by EUCARIS System Updates. General information about system Updates can be found here.
This Salzburg extension consist of four separate data sets:
- Identification of driver
- Establishment of address
- Sending and servicing of documents
- Cross-Border Execution
Each data set consists of 2 message flows and four messages:
- A request + acknowledgement
- A response + acknowledgement
Requirements
This extension requires:
- an installation of EUCARIS release 7 running on Windows server 2003/2008 using Microsoft SQL Server (all editions) or Oracle (all editions).
- System Update 32-1 (SU-32-1 or higher)
- the latest version of the EUCARIS Configuration tool installed on the EUCARIS server.
Web client plugin
This extension contains no web client plugin for the default EUCARIS web client!
Service plugin
This extension installs the required service plugin and adds the Salzburg services, authorisation, logging and XSDs to the EUCARIS core. After installation EUCARIS is able to receive and transfer Salzburg messages.
Installation
The System Update 32-1 (SU-U32-1 or higher) must be installed prior to the installation of this extension. The installation process is described in detail in the “EUCARIS – Installation and Operation Manual.pdf” document, available on this site.
Configuration
Please check for (and install) a new Configuration Update after the installation of this update. If there is no new Configuration Update available make sure to reload the last received Configuration Update using the Configuration Tool (Menu > File > Load Configuration Update and select the last Configuration Update received).

Testing
The Salzburg services are available for testing purposes on the EUCOP acceptance environment, as of 1-8-2016. Please contact EUCARIS Operations if you would like to start testing.
