This extension adds the PTI functionality to EUCARIS, and is deployed by EUCARIS System Updates. General information about system Updates can be found here.
Requirements
This extension requires:
- an installation of EUCARIS release 7 running on Windows server 2008/2012 using Microsoft SQL Server (all editions) or Oracle (all editions).
- System Update 30 (SU-U30 or higher)
- the latest version of the EUCARIS Configuration tool installed on the EUCARIS server.
Service plugin
This extension installs the required service plugin and adds the PTI services, authorisation, logging, and XSDs to the EUCARIS core. After installation EUCARIS is able to receive and transfer single (synchronous) PTI messages.
Installation
The System Update 30 (SU-U30 or higher) must be installed prior to this extension. The installation process is described in detail in the “EUCARIS – Installation and Operation Manual.pdf” document, available on this site.
Upgrade notes
This is a cumulative update. Previous PTI System Updates do not have to be uninstalled prior to this update. Any existing translated languages, local services configuration, user profiles and logging configuration is retained.
Configuration
After installation the most recent Configuration Updates are downloaded and installed automatically. This ensures the correct configuration of the PTI extension.
