VH Notification go-live

The VHRNotification service as part of the EUCARIS treaty services pack in EUCARIS v7, will be replaced by the VHNotification service EUCARIS v8, the implementation requires a big bang strategy where all participating countries go-live with (switch to) the new v8 VHNotification service at the same moment, as announced during recent TWGs.

Schematic overview of current configuration

Current situation of VHRNotification in the EUCARIS treaty services pack: two member states each with legacy system, Local Data Service v7, EUCARIS v7 with queue and VHRNot web or custom client, exchanging v7 VHRNotification messages.

Schematic overview of new configuration

New situation after installing the system and configuration updates: EUCARIS v7 connects through a transformer service to the EUCARIS v8 message service, and member states exchange enveloped VHNotification messages, with VHNot web clients v8 next to the v7 clients.

The go-live is scheduled to take place on September 13th, 2023
