This is an information notice of scheduled maintenance work on the NVDF Web Services Systems
Presidio will be undertaking essential works on the network firewalls in Ennis after 21:30 the 3rd and 5th February in order to prepare for the future planned relocation of services from Shannon to Ennis which will impact Web Services stack and AutoSys.
After 21:30 on Tuesday 3rd February the existing Ennis firewall will be rebooted. No impact to service is anticipated, but we would like all stakeholders to be aware of the work in the unlikely scenario there might be a momentary “blip”
After 21:30 on Thursday 5th February a new firewall will be activated, and a subset of traffic will be rerouted to the new firewall. This work will require an outage to webservices of between 30 to 90 minutes while reconfiguration takes place.
Where it is appropriate we will be contacting individual stakeholders to invite them to perform additional service verification when the work is completed at approximately 22:30 on the night of 5th February.
